Mr. Haig DeRusha is the founder of DeRusha Law Firm (1994). He is a senior lawyer managing up to six lawyers or articling students, all of whom practice in family law. In the past, he was designated by the Superior Court of Ontario as a Dispute Resolution Officer, fulfilling the role of a Judge as assigned.
In private practice, Mr. DeRusha is designated by the Law Society of Upper Canada (Ontario) as a Family Law Specialist, one of only three in Peel Region. He is also a Certified Family Mediator with FDRIO. Experience includes mediation and arbitration at the highest levels in front of persons such as Mr. Philip Epstein, Q.C. and Mr. Alfred Mamo.
His objective as a mediator is to get a fair and balanced result, based on legal principles in a safe environment.
